[What I’ve Been Watching] R&B Divas LA Season 3 – Episode 9

I do NOT see it for these hoes… can I get a reeecaaaasst – in my Elle Varner voice

I’ll be doing some reviews of a couple of shows and storylines that have peaked my interest of late..

Honey, I watched the Divas last night and some things stuck out to me… Leela James is tasked with organizing a trip to Palm Springs (budget cuts?) and extends an invite to the ladies (because two of these heifers are not like the others). Chante Moore simply states that she doesn’t want to go out of town for certain people to be mean to her, and then like magic EVERYONE is fucking mean to her!

I am not here for a gang up on Chante again. First off, it’s tired. Secondly, there is no basis. If Chante did something behind the scenes then we certainly haven’t seen it this season. For Lil’ Mo to be jumping up and down with child and joining in on this bullshit is par the course for her petty ass. I know Whitney Houston is turning over in her grave and wiping her forehead with her trademark towel thinking that someone gave Stacy Francis the ability to profit off of their confrontation by giving her a slot on this show. She isn’t a fucking diva, and has NO hits. Again.. NO hits. For this woman to think she can sing circles around Chante is absolutely ridiculous. Stacy go listen to “Wey U” and have a fucking seat… at a Waffle House where your last concert was.

Why Leela got all crunk is beyond me. Yes, Chante could have been more direct in just who she was talking about, however, getting all up in her face, pointing fingers, and doing all that “bull swanky” is just uncalled for. These women have a problem with Chante, and I’m not sure just what it is. If everyone went and forgave each other, then it seems to me that they’re only mad because Stacy is good friends with Chante’s EX HUSBAND, and they’re afraid of that trifling bitch Stacy turning her wrath onto them. Honestly, honey, I don’t fucking see it for none of them. I will watch the finale, but their treatment of Chante in the preview lets me know that I’m not going to be here for that shit either.

SIDEBAR: Poor Brave, she should have attempted to get cast for Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. Not TV One’s Throwback Thursday R&B Divas LA. Wrong audience for her to get her music across to. If her shit wasn’t played at a cookout anytime between 1985 and 2005, that audience isn’t there for it. Which is exactly why her AND Stacy “No Hits” Francis shouldn’t have been casted.

  1. Can I just say what a comfort to uncover somebody that actually understands what they’re discussing over the internet.
You actually know how to bring an issue to light and make it important.

More people have to look at this and understand this side of the
story. I was surprised you’re not more popular given that you surely have the gift.
